Getaway Guy is a private ground-transportation service operated by Gray Owl Group LLC ("we," "us," "Getaway Guy"). By requesting, booking, or paying for service, you ("Client") agree to these Booking Terms.
1. Bookings & Confirmation
- A quote or booking request is not a confirmed reservation. Your trip is confirmed only once we have confirmed availability and received your deposit.
- We confirm requests as promptly as possible. Until confirmed, requested times are not held.
2. Pricing & Payment
- Quoted pricing is all-in for the trip as described (door to door). Additional stops, wait time beyond the included grace period, extended hours, tolls/parking where applicable, or itinerary changes may adjust the final price.
- A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. The remaining balance is due at the conclusion of the trip, which allows for any adjustments (such as added stops or wait time).
- Payments are processed securely by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your full card details. Your card may be securely retained by the processor to charge the agreed balance.
3. Cancellations & Changes
- Client cancellation:
- 48+ hours before pickup — deposit refunded in full.
- 24–48 hours before pickup — 50% of deposit refunded.
- Under 24 hours / no-show — deposit non-refundable.
- Changes (time, date, route, passengers) are subject to availability and may adjust pricing.
- Our cancellation: in the rare event we must cancel, you receive a full refund of all amounts paid.
4. Wait Time, Delays & No-Shows
- Included grace period: 15 minutes for standard pickups, 60 minutes after landing for airport arrivals (tracked via flight number where provided). Wait time beyond the grace period is billed at our standard hourly rate (prorated).
- A no-show (Client absent and unreachable beyond the grace period) is treated as a late cancellation (§3).
5. Client Responsibilities & Conduct
- Provide accurate trip details (pickup/dropoff, times, passenger count, flight info).
- Passenger count must not exceed the vehicle's seating capacity; seatbelts required.
- No illegal activity; no smoking. Cleaning or repair beyond normal use may incur a fee equal to the reasonable cost of cleaning or repair.
- We may decline or end service for unsafe, abusive, or unlawful conduct.
6. The Vehicle & Service
- We provide professional ground transportation in a well-maintained vehicle. The specific vehicle may vary; we reserve the right to substitute a comparable vehicle.
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (weather, traffic, road closures, acts of God).
7. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Getaway Guy's liability arising from the service is limited to the amount paid for the affected trip. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for missed flights, appointments, or connections.
8. Insurance
- Getaway Guy maintains commercial automobile liability insurance covering its passenger-transport services.
9. Privacy
- We collect only the information needed to provide and manage your trip, and we do not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy (/privacy).
10. Governing Law & Disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.
